Terms and Conditions Beren and Luthien Competition

 

 

 

 

1. This promotion is open to all those who pre-order a deluxe edition of Beren and Lúthien (http://www.tolkien.co.uk/product/9780008214203/Beren+and+L%C3%BAthien) through Tolkien.co.uk. These customers will automatically be entered into our prize draw to win one of a limited number of exclusive, signed prints by Alan Lee.
2. This competition is promoted by HarperCollins Publishers Limited (“HarperCollins”), 1 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9GF.
3. Offer void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Each entrant must be the rightful holder of the email account submitted at purchase. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the holder of the email account, the holder will be deemed to be the person who owns the email address according to the records of the email service provider. The email account must be opened prior to the commencement of the competition.
5. This promotion is open to all UK and Ireland residents except employees of HarperCollins (or their parent, subsidiaries or any affiliated companies) and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition.
6. You must be 18 or over to enter this competition.
7. The closing date for entry is 01/06/2017. No orders received after this date will be accepted into the prize draw.
8. Only one entry allowed per household.
9. The prize is one (1) copy of a limited number of signed Beren and Lúthien prints, by Alan Lee. Estimated Value of prize: £59.99. 
10. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the prize.
11. No cash or prize alternatives are available.
12. HarperCollins reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
13. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
14. The winners of the competition will be drawn at random from all correct entries by an independent adjudicator and notified by email no later than the 15th June 2017. Where we require details from you, if you do not provide these within 28 days of notification we reserve the right to select a different winner.
15. THE ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED.
16. The prizes will be delivered to the winners by 31st August 2017. HarperCollins reserves the right to select another winner if the original winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe.
17. Any application containing incorrect, false or unreadable information will be rejected. Any applications made on behalf of or for another person or multiple entries will not be included in the competition.
18. HarperCollins’ decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.
19. To obtain details of the prize winner after the closing date, please write to Tolkien Marketing, HarperCollins Publishers, 1 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9FG.
